Cove
West Elm Hospitality Lounge Chair 2026
Cove is the winning design of the annual HD/West Elm Product Design Competition. Designed for hospitality, it leverages elegance and comfort through a sculpted walnut frame with a continuous cupped seat-and-back form that creates a seamless, enveloping silhouette. The result is a piece that is visually warm, refined, and inviting.
Objective
Designing a sculptural hospitality lounge chair that balances organic warmth with structural precision.
