Swirl is an ongoing exploration of generative form inspired by the organic shapes of lathe chips (swarf). The project utilizes algorithmic design to translate the chaotic beauty of manufacturing waste into functional and aesthetic objects, celebrating the "fingerprint" of the machining process.
